All set for Ewangelia Easter celebration concert

Organisers of the highly anticipated gospel live concert announced that preparations are at over 80 per cent, promising gospel concert enthusiasts to experience a memorable evening of intensive praise and worship.

This was communicated during a press conference held in Kigali on Tuesday, March 26.

The Ewangelia Easter Celebration concert is set for Sunday, March 31 from 4pm at BK Arena and is expected to offer a special celebration for worshipers and believers to celebrate Jesus Christ’s resurrection through divine musical festivities.

Organised by the Bible Society of Rwanda (BSR), a Christian Non-Governmental Organization, Ewangelia Easter Celebration concert is one of the events the organisation has since August last year (2023) been engaged in to mobilise individuals, entrepreneurs, institutions and companies on supporting the Bible to solve its shortage in the country.

According to Pastor Viateur Ruzibiza, the Chief Executive of the Rwanda Bible Association, funds to be raised during the concert will be invested in increasing Bible distribution within Rwandan communities, including Braille Bible.

The concert will be graced by popular artistes and choirs, including Shalom Choir, Jehovah Jireh, Israel Mbonyi, James and Daniella, Christus Regnat, and Alarm Ministries.

James Rugarama, who was present at the press conference, stressed the necessity to support the Bible, adding that performing during the concert is an opportunity to share with the public good news about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, our Savior.
