In his parents’ footsteps, singer Jado Sinza works to spread the gospel through music

The scripture in the book of proverbs encourages parents to train up their children in the way they should go, and as a result, when they are old, they will not depart from it.

Gospel artiste Jean de Dieu Sinzabyibagirwa known as Jado Sinza considers this verse as a foundation on which he inherited his parents’ singing talent and faithfulness.

Sinza, whose vocal delivery proves to be one of the talented contemporary gospel artistes in the country, started singing at an early age of 5 when he joined a children’s choir.

According to Sinza, following her parents’ footsteps guided him to become the person he is today.

“Both my parents are good servants of God with singing talents. I was born and raised in a Christian family. My dad is a pastor, while my mom is an evangelist. So, I inherited the talent from them,” Sinza testifies.

As he grew up, he joined Siloam Choir at his local church ADEPR Kamukenke and New Melody group where the artiste is among key singers.

It was until the end of 2016 when the artiste started solo music, and yet he continued serving in the groups.

He explained that mixing his personal and groups’ projects is not a challenge because he organises each accordingly.

“My personal projects can’t overtake my responsibilities I have with my team; it is where I learned a lot to advance my career. They are flexible and considerate when I am busy with my personal projects,” he added.

Currently, the artiste has released a new song titled, ‘Inkuru y’Agakiza’ translated as ‘the Story of Salvation,’ which features on his third album yet to be released.

Talking about his latest song, he noted that he got inspiration from Jesus’ commandment to His disciples to go into the world and proclaim the good news of Christ.

“Proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ is a complete story I have. Jesus is the saviour. We need to tell the world that his salvation can make us new creatures. We all were born with bad history, we inherited from our ancestors and fortunately, Jesus the Saviour brought new life to us,” the singer explained.

About his future plans, the singer is still working on his third album and is planning to host a mega concert next year.

He encouraged his lovers to keep on supporting his career, also reminding them that Jesus loves them unconditionally.

“I need my lovers’ support to bring the good news to many. I work to reach many people with the good news as well as advancing my level.
