Living Word Church is set to host a transformative 4-day crusade aimed at drawing Rwandans into closer connection with God.
Scheduled from August 24 to 27, this crusade will take place at Living Word Church in Kanombe near Rwanda Art Museum.
Bishop Emmanuel Karemera, the leader of Living Word Church, emphasised the significance of the crusade in which he says everyone is invited.
“We have chosen to embrace it because we recognise its noble intentions and potential to contribute to the growth of God’s kingdom,” he said. “Our schedule includes visits to widows, with daily preaching sessions from 5 pm to 8 pm.”
Bishop Karemera also noted that August 26 is dedicated to women and girls and marks the official launch of Queen Esther’s Generation, a ministry founded for women and girls. The founder of the organisation, Pastor Dr. Esther Obasi-Ike, is also in Kigali to attend the crusade.
“We consider it a blessing to host anointed women of God who can guide us on a spiritual journey of growth and transformation,” Bishop Karemera said.
He encouraged everyone to attend, assuring them that they would leave with a renewed spiritual energy.
Pastor Obasi-Ike, the leader of Redeemed Christian Church of God Solution Center in Nairobi and the President and Founder of Queen Esther’s Generation, an interdenominational women’s movement, said their primary purpose in the crusade is to officially launch Queen Esther’s Generation Rwanda Chapter, focusing on spiritual transformation, equipping, empowering, and engaging women in their communities.
She encouraged the people of Rwanda to attend the event, promising that it would be life-transforming as they will be open to the move of God.
Pastor Obasi-Ike also mentioned Queen Esther’s Generation presence in various countries, expressing faith in God’s greater plan for Rwanda.
“We have a huge impact in Kenya in terms of family values. We also emphasise on selfless servant leadership in society,” she said.
The pastor also shared a divine encounter in which God emphasised the importance of helping widows, the vulnerable, and the needy, reaffirming their mission’s significance.
“I think my greatest joy concerning this mission is that God has spoken. And when God speaks, it means He has gone ahead of us and that He has endorsed this program. So we are just here to be used by Him. He already knows what to do,” she said.
The crusade will also feature worship sessions by talented artists, including Kanuma, Ben & Chance, and Winners Worship Team, among others.
For those unable to attend in person, the event will be broadcast live on the Living Word Church YouTube channel.
