Gospel singer Lt. Col. Simon Kabera continues to receive congratulatory messages from gospel celebrities including artistes, journalists, and evangelists among others after his new appointment as Deputy Military Spokesperson.
The news of Kabera’s appointment was shared in a communique issued by Rwanda Defense Force (RDF) on 8 June.
“His Excellency the President of the Republic of Rwanda and Commander-in-Chief of RDF has appointed Lt.Col. Simon Kabera as Deputy Military Spokesperson. The appointment takes immediate effects,” the statement reads.
Since then, gospel celebrities have taken to social media to celebrate the promotion with Lt.Col Kabera and family.
Kabera is a well-known gospel singer. He is credited for recording and releasing songs that are changing the lives of many people . Some of his songs include Ukwiye Amashimwe, Mfashe Inanga, Hari inshuti and Munsi Yawo among others.
Worshipper Gaby Kamanzi wrote: “Congratulations, sir. We pray that God will continue to enable you to fulfill your new responsibilities. We love you.”
RTV presenter, Juliette Tumusime, excitedly wrote: “Good news today. Thanks be to Heavenly father. This parent (Kabera) is unique. May God continue to lift you up.”
Radio Umucyo’s presenter Steven Karasira : “Good news. Congratulations to our Afande. May God help him in his new duties.”
Evangelist Danny Ndasumbwa who lives in America wrote: “ Afande deserves a lot of promotions. Congratulations Afande Simon.”
