On Sunday, June 4 around 7 pm, Kigali Convention Centre Hall was filled with an applause as renowned gospel duo James and Daniella took to the stage to deliver fervent performances that led hundreds into a frenzy of praise and worship.
Daniella smartly dressed in a glittering silver long max dress and James in a complete black and white suit.
On stage, the duo was backed up by a band of Seven girls dressed in brown dresses, three men and instrumental team composed of Six young men.
James explained to the audience that there was a period they were confused of what their calling was, which prompted them to plead with God, who fortunately revealed His love to them.
Around 8:30, Hymnos singers Dedo and Naome joined the duo on stage. Their collabo filled the hall with an extra atmosphere of worship.
It has been three years without a concert of their own, but James and Daniella returned to the stage with an extraordinary moment of praise and worship that made for a particularly intensive and memorable Sunday for gospel music lovers.
The couple previously held their first concert in March 2020. Many people have been longing for another night of live praise and worship till Sunday, June 4, 2023.
The ‘Gathering of 1000’ concert was one of a few shows that started at the right time as communicated on the invitation. Famous duo Rene Patrick and Tracy Gasaro were the hosts of the show.
James and Daniella performed a mix of songs, including new songs from their third album, Ibyiringiro. They also shared information with attendees about the inspiration of their songs.
