Grace Room Ministries reports that a total of 152 people were already baptized this year.
A total of 93 people will publicly witness their commitment to live obediently to Jesus Christ through water baptism, at an upcoming week-long crusade organised by Grace Room Ministries.
The ministry will mark 4 years of service. The event for celebration is expected to take place from December 5 to 11 at Good Shepherd Church in Nyarutarama under the theme, “Your Glory Lord.”
People to be baptised are among the other 915 people who have responded to the call of salvation in Jesus Christ this year as a result of Grace Room Ministries’ evangelism. They include people who left prostitution and drug abuse and found freedom in Christ.
The ministry reports that another 152 people were already baptized this year. The progress is part of the ministry’s seven-year-strategic plan under which 2 million people are expected to be reached with the Gospel of Christ.
To successfully reach their target, the ministry focuses on 3 main approaches including evangelism (crusade, seminars, Bible studies and discussions), compassion (supporting children to get access to education, providing health insurance and nutrition to fight against stunting) and capacity building.
Ahead of their 4th anniversary, the ministry recently shared with the media some achievements.
Pastor Julienne Kabirigi Kabanda, founder of the ministry, said the ministry is grateful for the progress though they have not reached where they want to be.
“We are glad to celebrate our 4-year-journey. We thank God for His marvelous works,” she said.
The celebrations will feature praise and worship, sermon and prayers. Various local and regional guests are expected to grace the event.
Kabanda noted that throughout the period of 4 years, they have testified to God’s marvelous works in their ministry. “We have real testimonies. As we compile achievements for 4 years, I am so excited by what God did for us within this year. Our virtual and in-person outreaches have been bearing fruits.”
She added that from year 1 up to date, their prayers focus on God’s glory to be upon people who are still under the power of darkness.
The pastor is also happy that people who made decisions to follow Christ are active in Wednesday and Friday services.
“We see God enabling us to move towards our mission,” she added.
So far, Grace Room Ministries has established branches in different parts of the world and there is a plan to establish more across the country, according to the founder.
Grace Room Ministries, a faith-based non-profit organisation, aims at bringing people to Christ and reaching out to the world with love and compassion.
