Rwanda Leaders Fellowship has announced the postponement of the National Prayer Breakfast due to the new wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The annual event was scheduled to take place on January 9, 2022.
The annual National Prayer Breakfast is organized by Rwanda Leaders Fellowship and brings together government officials, the private sector and members of civil society to thank God for Rwanda’s achievements over the past year.
According to a statement from the Rwanda Leaders’ Fellowship, the new date on which it will take place will be communicated later.
The statement refers to the scripture of Jeremiah 29:11 to comfort people with a living hope.
Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.”
