Christmas Charity: The Christian Way TV Show plans to support over 10 needy families

As Christmas draws near, various individuals and organisations are getting ready to support needy people in one way or another.

The Christian Way, a television program that airs every Saturday 5pm on Authentic TV is planning its outreach campaign, aimed at extending assistance to over 10 families during this season.

Dubbed “Christ’s Mass Love,” the outreach’s target is not only to support the families for Christmas, but to provide a stock that can carry them on for some time.

Pascal Ntaganda, one of the hosts of the Christian Way program told Gospel Time that the outreach “is simply an idea to share the love that came down from God to humanity.”

In order to implement the campaign, The Christian Way program is partnering with Graceland, a fashion house in Kigali that deals in branded Christian T-shirts.

Here, on every T-shirt that a client purchases from Graceland, a certain portion will be going to the charity campaign.

In addition, besides buying T-shirts, people who are interested in giving any amount of money to the charity are also welcome.

“We are calling upon companies, individuals to partner with us. Love given, love shared,” Ntaganda said.

He noted that one of the priorities in the campaign is to assist needy families deal with the school fees of their children.

The outreach is expected to start on the 22nd of this month, when the team will meet up with the needy families, pray together and talk to each other.

Then on Christmas and New years’ day, material and financial support will be extended to these families.
