US-based Rwandan gospel singer Tumaini Byinshi has released a new video song titled ‘Nafashe umwanzuro.’
The singer, whose songs have been an inspiration to gospel lovers worldwide, said that the new song is a remix of ‘Amateka y’Ibyahise’.
Tumaini explained that the ‘Nafashe Umwanzuro’ is a testimonial song detailing what God had revealed to him in dreams during a prayer time.
“In dreams, I saw a crowd of people going to church, some of them were absent minded and abstracted. Then, a pastor came closer to me and explained what was going on.”
“I was told that some of the members just attend the church service but their minds are out of focus, some are motivated by worldly wealth and personal benefits and find no interest in the Gospel,” he added.
Tumaini went on saying that by that time he started crying and praying to God asking for forgiveness and strength in the journey to heaven.
Despite the hard times of the coronavirus pandemic, Tumaini said, artistes need to keep their fans in the spirit of praise and worship by releasing many more songs to comfort them.
