April 7, Rwanda and friends of Rwanda across the world start a weeklong period to mark the 26th Anniversary of the Genocide against the Tutsi.
The commemoration period is observed when the world is devastated by the Coronavirus outbreak. Consequently, there will be no commemoration activities at district levels as planned earlier according to the National Commission for the Fight against Genocide.
This year’s commemoration is held under the theme, “Remember-Unite-Renew.”
