Shekinah Masoro keen to release debut album

After 17 years in the ministry as a worship team, Shekinah Worship Team of Evangelical Restoration Church Masoro reaches another appreciable step of releasing their first ever album. The team started in 2003 at Evangelical Restoration Church-Remera Parish formerly known as Casa Bonita.

The beginning of the team was described to be more challenging for the members due to the long journey they used to walk from Kimisagara to Remera, but for God’s mercy the team became strong and prosperous.

Ahead of the launch of their first album, the team has organized a twelve hour Praise and Worship event to take place at Evangelical Restoration Church Masoro. The event is scheduled on March 6th from 6:00 pm until the morning.

Titled, “Ndakwihaye,” the album is composed of 10 songs.

According to the team, the title of the album “Ndakwihaye” was retrieved from the book of Romans 12:1-2. This verse shows how all creatures should give their bodies as living sacrifices, holy, and pleasing to God, which is regarded to be a proper worship.

Over the years, Shekinah worship team has been ministering during various gospel events organised by local gospel artists.

According to Pastor Lysette Umutesi, a member of the team and one of the staff, the event will be a special moment to please God through the consecration of the bodies, souls and riches.

“We have known that true worship, true service to God and all that please Him is not only about using gifts and talents, but also to give ourselves to Him as our King who reigns over us and leads us every day,”

The team revealed that the project of the album had started in 2017.

The Shekinah Worship Team is also known for nurturing a number of anointed worshipers in the country such as Serge Iyamuremye, ArseneTuyi, Patient Bizimana, Justin Cubaka, and Christian Irimbere.

A number of worshippers are invited to grace the event such as René Patrick, Papi Clever, Yvan Ngenzi.

Among others include Alarm Ministries, Coeur d’Adoration from Goma Democratic Republic of Congo, together with Shinning Stars and Shekinah Dance of Masoro. The entrance is free.

Apostle Joshua Ndagijimana Masasu and his wife Pastor Lydia Umulisa Masasu will host the event.
