Hoziana choir releases 12th album

Hoziana choir has recently released its latest album titled, “Twatsindishirijwe n’amaraso ya Yesu” translated as “We are set free by the blood of Jesus.”

The choir is based at Nyarugenge Pentecost Church and is one of the aged choirs in the country.

The new project is composed of 11 songs such as Ntitukiri imbata za satani, Nta Jambo, Iherezo, Umuhamagaro, Kwizera and Baratunguwe.

Among others include Umwana yatuvukiye, Zirikana agakiza, Twari abanyamahanga, Nzamwitegereza, and Umusozi.

The choir launched the project on Thursday during an event dubbed, “Hoziana Meets the Media” which was held in Kigali City. The event attracted the choir’s representative and executive committees as well as Christian media personnel.

Referring to the 2020 Action Plan, Fabien Ndungutse, the president of the choir disclosed that video shooting for the audio album is slated in June.

Ndungutse explained that the album carries a good message full of good news. The songs deliver the history of 12 Disciples of Christ and salvation.

“We are happy to bring to Rwandans new album. We believe our products will keep on inspiring Rwandans spiritually. We wish everyone to fetch strengths in our songs,” he noted.

Strengthening partnership with media

Hoziana Choir has expressed the efforts to collaborate with media in order to expand the reach of their products.

The choir’s president highlighted the role of media in reaching unreached areas on the team’s behalf.

“We can’t overlook the role of media in spreading the messages of our products. Media is a vehicle of our products. In the Bible media was used to disclose news to the concerned people or community. For instance when God wanted to disclose information to His people. That is why we too have to put more emphasis on media among other social media platforms,”

Biblical journalism focused on the events that have already taken place as well as disclosing information about future events-revelation.

“Media helps us to reach where we cannot reach. It strengthens Christians living in remote areas where evangelism is difficult.
