Papane Bulwane, one of the celebrated South African gospel artistes will both perform and do live recording of songs in Kigali this Sunday.
Bulwane is one of the dynamic praise and worship leaders in South Africa.
The 37 year old belongs to Spirit of Praise, a prominent gospel group led by Bishop Benjamin Dube.
His concert dubbed “Gospel is my Life” will take place on Sunday at Christian Life Church Nyarutarama.
This is the second time for the artiste to come to Rwanda. His maiden performance in Kigali happened last year where he featured as a guest singer during a concert organised by local artiste Arda Bisabo.
Speaking to the New Times, Eddy Runyambo the Vice President of Gisubizo Ministries, who is one of the organisers of the concert, said that Bulwane’s return to Rwanda is a fulfillment of a promise he made when he sang in Kigali in 2018,
“He promised to come back and do live recording from Rwanda,” he said.
“He is a good singer. He knows how to praise. We shall have a good concert.”
Some of his songs include; Nasempini, Yingakho ngicula, Halempotsa, Impilo yami and Ndohamba among others
The concert will also feature local artistes Papi Claver and Patient Bizimana, as well as choirs Healing worship team and Gisubizo Ministries.
Born in South Africa, Bolwane started singing at the age of seven, and later he would join Spirit of Praise.
Established in 2008, Spirit of Praise serves as a platform to introduce new artistes and to help launch their careers.
