Rwandan Gospel DJ Spin has been awarded with a top continental DJ award.
The famous gospel DJ was named the Outstanding DJ of Excellence at the Maranatha Global Worship Music Awards (MGWMAs) that happened last Sunday in Nairobi Kenya.
The MGWMAs are designed to acknowledge authentic biblical worship music and to honour exceptional individuals from around the globe in gospel music.
DJ spin was nominated to compete in two categories: Outstanding DJ of Excellence and Kingdom personality of Excellence.
For both nomination slots, he was in a race with some outstanding DJs on the continent, yet he managed to take home the Outstanding DJ of Excellence, a prize which surely seemed to thrill him
For starters, DJ Spin is a household name in the Rwandan circles when it comes to the DJ industry, doing gospel songs.
In an interview, Spin told The Gospel Time Rwanda how the award made him feel,
“It feels great, it is breathtaking winning such a prestigious award,” he said.
