A total of four pastors, 200 deacons were last week, on Sunday consecrated to serve “Umuriro wa Pentekote” church countrywide. The church was detached from ADEPR some years ago.
During the ceremony that took place at “Umuriro wa Pentekote” Church’s headquarters in Kigali, Gasabo District, the consecrated servants were urged to work hard and dedicate most of their time serving God and His people.
This extraordinary moment was witnessed by thousands of believers including Bishops, pastors, choirs among other family members.
In front of the congregation, the consecrated servants have vowed to never deceive the church and serve it with integrity, humility, accountability and courage.
Pastor Joseph Majyambere, the legal representative of ‘Umuriro wa Pentekote’ church in Rwanda, described the responsibilities to be complicated but easy for determined and true servant of God.
Majyambere said that a good servant of God should be characterised by positive values and commitment.
Majyambere told the pastors that the work they are consecrated for is not easy. He advised them to work hard, pray and avoid the love of things.
“You should dedicate your time serving the church. The new responsibilities will make you leave or abandon your current occupation.
