Gospel artistes from around the region convene in Kigali today for a three-day regional conference dubbed “Overflow Africa Worship”. The event runs from August 26-28 at Christian Life Assembly Church in Nyarutarama.

Under the theme “the difference between a talented, gifted minister and an anointed minister”, the conference brings together worship teams, bands and pastors from Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.

The annual event is organised by Heavenly Melodies Africa and aims to train and equip worship leaders with skills that will enrich their respective churches and create a level of excellence and divine understanding in the area of praise and worship in the church.

As part of opening sessions, on Sunday evening there will be evening worship rallies starting from 6:00 pm up to 9:00 pm.

During morning hours from Monday up to Tuesday, there will be workshops for pastors from 7: am up to 12:30 pm while in the evening hours the participants will hold worship sessions.

Popular gospel artistes who will grace the event include Dudu Niyukuri and Apostle Apollinaire Habimana both from Burundi, Pompi and Racheal Nanyangwe from Zambia, Hum K. and local artistes such as Israel Mbonyi and Alive and Freed, Olivier Kavutse and his wife Amanda Kavutse who are hosting the event.
