Gospel journalist Byishimo returns with new song, promises more

It’s been long since a gospel journalist and artist, Espoir Byishimo known as Happy, released any new song.

Now, after about three years of absence from the scene, Byishimo is finally come back with his new song titled “Garuka.”

The recent released song calls anyone who has been serving God but now has given up to come back to work.

During an interview with the Gospel Time, Byishimo noted that the song, his fourth since his debut in 2013, delivers a message to all people who have quitted their callings.

The popular gospel journalist and artist said that though he disappeared for some years ago, he returns with plans to compose more songs and be more active in the music scene.

“This is my fourth song. I was absent on the scene but I am back,”he said.

Asked on how to combine music and journalism profession, Byishimo replied that no worries because each has its own time.

Byishimo elected the winner of 2015 Groove award, an annual awarding ceremony to honor outstanding journalist in the Gospel Music Industry, as the best radio presenter of the year.

So far, Byishimo has released four songs including Akwiriye gushimwa in 2013, Urukundo rwawe in 2014, Hari Imbaraga in 2015 and the recent Garuka.
