Satura hit Singer Muganwa to launch first album

Rwandan Gospel singer Assumpta Muganwa, popularly known as Satura with ‘Satura Ijuru’ as her biggest hit so far is set to launch the first ever video album during a live concert.

Dubbed “Satura Ijuru,” the live concert is scheduled on July 22nd at New Life Bible Church in Kicukiro starting from 3:00 pm.

The singer will feature other renowned local gospel artists including Aline Gahongayire, Tonzi, Arsene Tuyi and Brian Blessed.

The theme of the concert is biblically referenced to the book of Isaiah 64:1-,

Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down,
that the mountains would tremble before you!
As when fire sets twigs ablaze
and causes water to boil,
come down to make your name known to your enemies
and cause the nations to quake before you!
For when you did awesome things that we did not expect,
you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.
Since ancient times no one has heard,
no ear has perceived,
no eye has seen any God besides you,
who acts on behalf of those who wait for him…

The video album is composed of nine songs including Till I die, Satura Ijuru, Satura, Ni wowe niringiye, N’ ukuboko kwawe, Yesu ndagushima, Tumusinze, Z95 and Rwaradushakishije.

According to Muganwa the concert will be a revival, believing that more blessings will come upon the gospel enthusiasts who will be present.

The entrance fee is 5000 (with a DVD), 3000 (for two people coming together) and 2000.

Assumpta Muganwa is also known to be a female artist behind Positive Thinking training initiative.
