Many people spend quite a bit of money on clothes. They want to look and feel good. People like to dress in the latest styles, get the latest haircut, and they love to look the epitome of success.
Have you ever dressed well and looked good on the outside, but on the inside you didn’t feel pretty or well put together?
What are you wearing?
“As God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.” – Colossians 3:12
God does not care what we look like on the outside. He cares about what is inside of us. You can spend as much money as you can afford on your outside appearance, but if you have an angry heart, bitter smile, are impatient, or hateful, you are not clothing yourself as God would have you do. Think about how you can change your inside appearance so it is pleasing to God. Then watch how you radiate on the outside, what you’re feeling inside
Take time and pray Lord to help you to always radiate goodness and love from the inside as well as reminding you daily that it’s what’s inside that means so much more than what you wearing on the outside.
